Individualized academic support for your child
Building confidence and success in English and Maths
Experienced in both American and British Systems
I began studying early childhood education and psychology at Ohio Wesleyan University in 2009, after which I went on to teach reading in public schools. My experience led me to believe that children need to be active decision makers in their education and that mutual respect is foundational to quality education.
This understanding led me to Montessori. After completing the AMI training program as Montessori Northwest and my master’s degree in Montessori Education from the University of Loyola Maryland, I went on to be the classroom guide at a public Montessori school in Portland, Oregon.
There I was fortunate to continue building my understanding of how to support students with a variety of needs, combining Montessori with my understanding from traditional methods, especially in reading support.
Later, when I moved to Madrid in 2019, I joined the Montessori community here. I am grateful to have this cross-cultural experience and to have the fortune of working with many of these wonderful families for years.
